š„š£ Share the Joy this Easter with the Mersey Caresā Egg Appeal! š°šø
This Easter, we want to spread some love and chocolatey cheer to looked after children accessing our children and young peopleās services. Thatās why weāre launching our Eggs-tra Special Easter Egg Appeal ā and we need your help!
Many children and young people arrive to our teams with very little.
Approximately 1,000 Children enter our Children in Care services each year; some of these children carry nothing but a black bin bag with very little in it to carry due to their circumstances, which may be a scary time for children.
Your support means so much. A simple chocolate egg can crack a big smile and bring joy to a child in need or facing challenging circumstances ā a reminder that theyāre valued and in peopleās thoughts.
Thank you for supporting the Easter Egg Appeal to support looked after children across our Mersey Care services. Supporting this appeal allows our Children in Care teams accross Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Knowsley to be able to support looked after children through this difficult time.

Supporting our Service go further
This appeal follows the success of our Secret Santa appeal which enabled us to send hundreds of gifts to vulnerable children during the festive period. If we exceed our target for the Easter Egg Appeal 2026, any excess funds will be allocated to support the Children in Care Fund to allow for further essentials and gifts that can support children in care accross Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Knowsley.
