Join the nation this July to celebrate the NHS 76th birthday and raise funds for the Mersey Care NHS Charity.

A great week to bring communities together around a shared love of the NHS whilst raising money to help fund projects to improve care and facilities for patients and communities across Cheshire and Merseyside

Everyone can get involved and every cuppa makes a difference.

So, grab a cup of tea, a slice of cake and donate here to help support the Mersey Care NHS Charity.

The NHS Big Tea is owned by NHS Charities Together, to support our NHS charity members in their fundraising.

Supporting Mersey Cares NHS Charity

As the dedicated charity for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, we support our specialist mental health and community services do more to fund enhanced support, projects, and services usually outside the scope of the NHS.

Together, we believe we can enhance and exceed expectations of the health, care and wellbeing available to the people we serve; helping the NHS go further.

Offering specialist services in physical and mental health, learning disabilities and addictions services; your support will allow us to improve care and facilities for patients and communities across Cheshire and Merseyside, helping us to fund innovative projects and developments that can tackle health inequalities, challenge stigma and enable our specialist mental health and community services to do more.

Funding has allowed us to provide wellbeing packages for children in care, fund ZSA suicide awareness training and make therapeutic sensory gardens and spaces for patients working towards recovery to go home. Funding has furthermore allowed us to set up a monthly support group for Young Onset Dementia patients, host interactive and creative spaces for children and young people to write about their experiences after COVID, and provide support for foster carers and parents to understand teenage emotions.

But there is still so much more we can do to make a difference in the lives of our patients and service users within our communities.
