Thursday 6 February is Time to Talk Day, a reminder to check in on friends, colleagues and those you care about — and an opportunity to start a conversation about mental health.

Mersey Care staff accross the Trust are hosting coffee mornings, bru sessions and bake sales with their teams and colleagues bewteen Monday 3rd February and Sunday 9th February 2025 - and should they wish to raise funds for Mersey Cares, they can do here - with all proceeds raised going towards staff wellbeing across the Trust.

Fundraise to support staff wellbeing

All funds raised from Time to Talk fundraisers will go to the Mersey Cares Staff Wellbeing Fund, enabling the charity to support staff wellbeing projects such as the ongoing Wellbeing Through Wildlife initiative, Wellbeing on Wheels and our award-winning Pause for Thought menopause campaign.

Thank you for raising awareness to support staff wellbeing.

As part of our core objectives, we want to reduce the pressue on our NHS colleagues and support the wellbeing of our staff and volunteers by launching wellbeing initiatives such as the 'Wellbeing on Wheels' tour, and by introducing experiences such as mindfulness and much more.

It’s so important to know that just a small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference. The more we talk about it; the better life is for all of us.
