- About
Sadly, more than 6,000 people in the UK die by suicide every year.
We want this to change as we believe one life lost to suicide is one too many.
We want to empower, equip, and educate individuals and organisations to support suicide awareness and prevention through our free online training and resources.
We want to raise awareness of suicide, challenge stigma and make suicide prevention something everyone feels they can get involved in.
Funding in 2024 has already allowed us to launch the redevelopment of ZSA's Online Suicide Awareness Training - a short, free, online course that can be taken by anyone who wants to learn basic suicide awareness and prevention skills. Within the first month of launching, 20,000 people had already completed this training.
With your donations we can continue to deliver free, accessible training opportunities so more people can learn vital skills and confidence to talk to someone struggling with suicidal thoughts
By donating to our fund, you support this zero suicide ambition and help us to:
- Develop and deliver new training opportunities for targeted communities
- Help us to support people to recognise what action they can take to support suicide awareness and prevention
- Help us to continue our research, develop and maintain accessible digital suicide data tools
- Help us to keep the conversation going, sharing the knowledge and skills, and grow the nation’s confidence to talk about suicide and challenge stigma
Your support, big or small, helps make a difference.
