My Story

Hi!

I am, attempting, to run the Liverpool half marathon on 23rd March 2025 and the Manchester Marathon on 27th April 2025. Running a marathon has been a challenge I have always wanted to overcome and having the opportunity to do this is daunting as well as exciting.

Working for the Knowsley Children Looked After team I have the privelege of supporting and helping some of the most vulnerable children in our society. I love my job and I feel a great level of satisfaction when I have been able to give something back. Working with Children in Care I have seen and listened to so many sad stories, running this marathon I would love to be able to raise some money so we can give a little something back. Many of the children we support come into care with very little and raising donations will help us purchase items to support their emotional health as well as their development.
